Requirements :

Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with no experience. Must be able to read and write. Good verbal and writing skills, sound communication, and computer skills. Customer care skills, interaction skills, ability to work in a team as well as working alone. More than 2 official languages will be an added advantage. Experience in a hospital environment will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to Pretoria West residents.
Duties :
-
Control and maintain queues in waiting areas to monitor waiting times. Ensure that patients are directed to appropriate clinics or point of services. Give general information to waiting patients. Assist in compiling monthly statistics of waiting times. Identify clients who need emergency care and liaise with Health Professionals. Treat patients according to Batho Pele principle and Patient Right Charter. Capture patients’ information on electronic monitoring tool. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Able to work under pressure. Perform all other duties delegated by Supervisor/Manager within scope of practice.
