A four-year tertiary qualification in BA Social Work/ Social Science as recognised by SAQA. 5 years’ experience as a Social Worker, with at least 3 years of the experience being within the field of Wellness Management/EAP, Valid registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions is compulsory, Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, DPSA EHWP strategic framework, Health and Wellness policies, A valid driver's license, Shortlisted candidate will be required to submit proof of annual registration receipt with the professional body (i.e. SACSSP), Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a valid work permit for Non-South African Citizens.
Duties :

Management and coordination, planning and implementation of psychosocial interventions/ services in the institution, Assisting with Trauma debriefing, Providing counselling and conflict mediation to employees, Ensure the rendering of a professional, integrated service by Employee Assistant Programme(EAP) to employees, Designing, managing, and evaluating programmes aimed at alleviating psychosocial distress for employees. Display a concern for employees, Take action to improve well-being of employees and interventions to assist them with emotional, personal and work-related problems, Provide administrative technical support for Wellness activities and Wellness Committees, Providing counselling to employees that are affected by HAST (HIV, AIDS, STI and TB) and mental health issues affecting employees, Collaborating with champions of HPM, SHEQ and HAST Pillars• Assist in monitoring and evaluation of the programme, Assist in conducting and coordinating capacity building activities, e.g. pre-retirement, violence in the workplace, supervisory training, stress management, building resilience/burnout, financial wellness, physical wellness, spiritual wellness. Facilitate the establishment of different sporting codes, Provide administrative duties and adhere to policies, Participate in health calendar events, Competencies, Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to work in a Multi-Disciplinary Team, Analytical skills, Self-Management and Problem Solving Skills, Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and organizational skills, Computer literacy, High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality, Planning and organizing skills, Ability to work under pressure, Results-driven, Report writing and facilitation skills, Self-motivated and a strong team player.
