Requirements :

  • A 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/7) in Facilities Management/ Occupational Health and Safety with 2-3 years’ experience in administrative environment. A valid driver’s licence. Knowledge and understanding of Departmental Occupational Health and Safety Management systems, procedures and processes regulating the Occupational Health and Safety and Security Management functions in the Public Sector. Skills and Competencies: Project Management Skills, Report Writing Skills, Communication Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Planning and Organizing Skills.

Duties :

  • DUTIES Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHS) policies and procedures. Ensure that OHS policies are implemented. Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programme. Provide and activate access cards to staff. Monitor the functionality of security features in Departmental buildings. Assist in implementation of OHS and Contingency Planning. Monitor access control measures. Assist in conducting OHS investigations and reporting. Attend to identified security breaches in Departmental buildings. Assist in OHS audits. Provide and maintain door locks. Monitor functionality of security upgrades. Facilitation of OHS Champions management.
