Requirements :

  • Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) as recognized by SAQA in Town and Regional Planning and/ or Built Environment. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Infrastructure Project Management at Middle/Senior management level. Registration with SACPLAN will be added as an advantage. A Pre-Entry SMS Certificate is a prerequisite. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Skills & Competencies: The incumbent should possess knowledge of Construction Industry Development Board Act of 2000 and Regulations. Council for Built Environment Act of 2000. PFMA/DoRA/Treasury Regulations, Practice Notes, Instructions, Circulars. Provincial/Departmental Supply Chain Management Policies. Provincial/Departmental Supply Chain Management Policies. National Building Standards Act of 1977 and Regulations. Gauteng IDMS Framework. Quantity Surveyors Profession Act of 2000. Property Valuers Profession Act of 2000. Duties :

  • Lead and manage the application of town and regional planning principles in land development. Manage the provision of Geographical Information System (GIS) and conduct environmental impact assessment. Manage and facilitate rapid land release programme. Administer and coordinate wide provincial informal settlements upgrade strategy. Management of the business unit.
