Requirements :

  • Basic R425 Qualification (i.e., Diploma or degree in Nursing) and any Speciality that is relevant to the PHC setting which is in line with OSD glossary. Proof of training on NIMART/PC 101. Valid registration with SANC as a Professional nurse. Minimum of 07 years appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a professional nurse. Ability to work within a multi- disciplinary team. Experience at management level will be an added advantage. Computer literacy. A valid driver’s license and be able to drive

Duties :

  • Ensure effective management of the HAST programme. Participate in activities aimed at improving the quality of data for the objective planning of the HAST programme. Effective supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the HAST programme. Good knowledge of Phuthuma Programme, CCMDD, Tier.net. and Nerve Centre Approach. Co-ordinate submission of reports. Ability to work with other stakeholders including departmental partners and NPOs. Facilitate and support implementation of health care service delivery, polices, procedures, clinical guidelines, protocols, and strategies aimed at achieving service excellence. Do clinical audits and give feedback to the clinic managers. Support the clinic managers to develop quality improvement. Strengthen HIV/TB collaboration at all clinics, and integration of HAST into PHC mainstream.
