Requirements :

Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Registration with the Health Professional Council of South African (HPCSA) as an independent practitioner in a relevant registration category and proof of current registration.( RSA citizen: No experience required after registration with the HPCSA as a Psychologist in respect of South African qualified employees who performed Community Service in a relevant profession as required in south Africa), ( foreigner: one (1) year relevant experience required after registration with HPCSA as a Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service as required in south Africa.)
Duties :
-
Render clinical psychological service within the hospital but not limited to diagnostic, evaluations, assessments ,treatment planning , interventions and providing psychological report when required. Provide individual, couples , family and group psychotherapy as needed. Particular community outreached programme and awareness campaigns .participate in multi- disciplinary teams. Preform administrative tasks associated with the clinical work.
