Requirements :

• Grade 12 Certificate with Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain/logistics/Purchasing Management or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or Grade 12 with Five (5) years appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management specifically in Public sector warehouse .Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Supply Chain Management in the Public Sector; Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, (PFMA);National Treasury Regulations, Employment Equity Act, Labour Relations Act. Public Service Act; SCM Prescripts and other relevant legislation. Communication (written and verbal) skills; Computer Literacy (MS Office); Planning and Organizing skill; Stores Management; Problem solving skills; Customer service; Document and filing management; Numerical skills. Report writing and presentation skill. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Driver`s license will be an added advantage.

Duties :

• Oversee the management of the Warehouses. Conduct spot checks randomly and reports any irregularities. Coordinate the Stocktaking process and facilitate the completion of the report thereof. Compile monthly stock recon. Coordinate and consolidate the Demand Plan for all the stores including the sub-district stores. Monitor the receiving and distribution of goods according to the Purchase Order. Serve as buffer for sub-district stores. Management of contracts and avoid deviation. Management of VA10 and VA 11a cards. Monitor all stock levels and replenish timeously. Supervision of material recording clerks as well as Store assistants.
