Requirements :

  • Grade 12 with six months’ experience in data capturing in the public health sector. A post-matric qualification will be an added advantage. Computer literacy is essential, competent in MS Excel, Ms Word and Power Point. Knowledge of DHMIS policy. Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to interpret data, analytical and numerical skills, good planning, organization, communication, reporting skills, and record keeping skills. DHIS certificate is compulsory. Driver’s license is essential. Current and former EPWP participants and COVID-19 contract officials are encouraged to apply.

Duties :

  • Ability to work on data and figures accurately. Collect/receive data from Different stakeholders, programs, and private providers at a District level. Capture, verify, collate, analyze data and give feedback to sub-districts and facilities regarding the quality of data and data issues. Create district data reports. Ensure effective and efficient flow of data information and timeous reporting. Attend training and meetings to address data challenges and give feedback to sub-Districts and facilities. Adhere to strict deadlines and be able to work under pressure. Assist with HIM training. Function as part of the District HIM committee and perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor
