Requirements :

  • NQF level 7 as recognised by SAQA in Economics or Finance. Desirable A postgraduate qualification NQF Level 8 in Economics or Finance. 5 years’ experience at a Senior Management level. Driver’s Licence. Public Service SMS Pre-Entry certificate

Duties :

  • To oversee, monitor and report on financial and non-financial performance in provincial institutions. Oversee and manage Fiscal policy to inform the development of a credible and transparent budget in line with the Gauteng Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP). Manage and oversee monitoring and reporting on expenditure. Oversee, monitor and review Compensation of Employees Spending (COE) within provincial institutions. Oversee Performance Management Reviews of Goods and Services aimed towards outcomes, impact and value for money in terms of strategic resourcing. Management of the Chief Directorate.
