Requirements :

• A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) in Business Management/ Purchasing/ Supply Chain Management (SCM)/ Procurement Management. 3-5 years’ experience in Transversal Sourcing as an administrator in procurement and/or supply chain managerial position. Knowledge of procurement best practices including sourcing strategies. Experience in vendor management and BBBEE /SMME development. Experience and understanding of the South African market.

Duties :

• To provide Transversal Sourcing services to the Gauteng Provincial Government. Improve tender process and reduce turnaround times from 120-90 days. Finalise award of contract within agreed SLA. Contract Management: Manage contract to client satisfaction and increase customer satisfaction and submission of status report. Obtain minimum satisfaction level form customer service. Facilitate that the contract is visible on the system (SRM & /SAP R3) Increase BBBEE preferential procurement spends from 60% to 70%.

One will be a practical exercise, and the other will be an Integrity (Ethical Conduct) Assessment.
