Requirements :

• A basic R425 qualification (i.e. Diploma / Degree in nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as professional nurse. Registration with SANC as a professional Nurse and proof of current registration. A post basic nursing qualification, with duration of at least one year in Primary Health Care diploma accredited with SANC. Grade 1: A minimum of 4 years’ appropriate /recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. Grade 2: A minimum of 14 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 10 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate experience in Primary Health Care specialty after obtaining the 1-year post-basic qualification in the relevant specialty. Additional requirement: NIMART training with experience in ART patient’s management. A Valid driver’s license.

Duties :

• HAST Mentors to ensure the provision of effective and efficient HAST patient care. Demonstrate an understanding of HAST guidelines, DMOC/HTS modalities. Able to implement HAST 95-95-95 strategy. Provide integrated facility support visits for improvement plans. Attend HAS Programme meetings, workshops, and trainings. Compile reports for submission to the next reporting level. Participate in sub-district activities as a member of the health sub-district team. Demonstrate basic computer literacy as a support tool to enhance service delivery. Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to improve service delivery.
