Requirements :

BChD or equivalent qualification. Registration with HPCSA as a Dentist in category independent practice. Experience in treating Endodontic patients. Experience in teaching and training students. At least 3 years of experience post community Service. Postgraduate qualification in Endodontics. Experience in dental research will serve as an advantage.
Duties :
-
Teaching and training of students in Endodontics, Dental materials, Basic restorative dentistry as well as Peadodontics. Supervising students in the clinical wards in the Department of Odontology. You will also be required to complete a Masters (if you don't have one). You will be required to do research and publish regularly in an ISI Journal. Selective clinical duties will be assigned to the candidate as seen fit by the Head of the Department. This may include managing and treating patients with special health care needs.
