Requirements :

• National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 certificate. Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse. Registration with SANC as Enrolled Nurse and current registration for 2026 • A minimum of 4 years ‘appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as and Enrolled Nurse. (Less one year from experience for candidates appointed from outside the public service after complying with registration requirements).

Duties :

• Demonstrate basic understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practice. Perform a basic clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards. To ensure safe and effective clinical nursing practice, ensure effective management of quality Nursing Service, Mentoring of Enrolled Nursing Assistances, ensure that the Nursing standards are upheld and maintained, ensure effective communication within the health setting, ensure optimal utilization of Human and material resources. Demonstration basic understanding of the legislative framework protocols or policies governing the public service.
