Requirements :

  • BDS/ BChD, MChD/ MDENT (Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology) and FC PATH (SA) Oral. The candidate must be registered with the HPCSA as a specialist in the category of Oral Pathologist. The following will be an added advantage, teaching and learning of undergraduate students and research in the field.

Duties :

  • The incumbent will be required to provide histopathology service rendering in the speciality of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, teaching and learning for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, clinical training of postgraduate students, and perform research. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the head and neck multidisciplinary team which includes performing intraoperative frozen sections and Forensic Odontology services, and administrative duties related to these tasks and any other duties as assigned.
