Requirements :

Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent. National Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6/7) in Logistics/Public Management/Administration/Business Administration or any relevant equivalent qualification. Five (5) years’ experience in support systems management of which three (3) years must be supervisor experience. Experience in managing people and projects with the ability to plan strategically. Demonstrate computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), with the ability to compile presentations and draft professional reports. Competencies Required: Knowledge of the PFMA Act and Treasury regulations, OHS, LRO, BCEA, Ideal hospital and infection control. Good knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures governing patients’ administration in the public sector. Planning and organizing activities and project management. Planning and organising activities and project for the component. Ability to perform independently and under pressure control budget. Decision making skills and problem-solving skills middle management, Labour relations, risk management and stress management, Ability to multitask and adapt changes. Develop policies and an understanding of HR Practices and staff relations. Strong leadership skills and Human Resource management skill. Code of conduct and Batho Pele Principles. Demonstrate willingness to assume acting responsibilities in senior roles when required.
Duties :

Knowledge of PFMA and Supply Chain Management Regulations and other regulatory framework. Provide resonate leadership and management. Monitor the provision of all systems that are under your supervision and ensure continuous uninterrupted service delivery to uphold the principles of Quality whilst preventing and controlling cross infection in the institution. Manage the areas such as Housekeeping, Cleaning, Catering services, Laundry & Linen bank services, Transport department, Security services and Waste services to ensure optimal usage and cost effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and laws. Ensure and maintain the health and safety for the staff and patients/clients on day-to-day operations. Provide technical advice to the network team and management in respect of all operations. Conduct risk analysis to inform the institutional risk management plan. Compile and manage monthly risk registers. Report any risk in the hospital. Attend monthly security meetings. Oversee the provision of all hotel services provided by private companies to ensure compliance with service level agreement. Ensure effective and efficient utilization of all resources. Ensure safety programmes requirement are adhered to by all staff. Implement and monitor effective hospital policies, protocols, practices within day-to-day operational areas. Develop operational plan in line with strategic priorities. Participate in different structure in the hospital. Maximize performance of staff and provide weekly, monthly reports.
