Requirements :

National Diploma or a Degree in Diagnostic Radiography, registered with the HPCSA as an Independent Diagnostic Radiographer. Basic computer skills will be an added advantage, Knowledge of labour Relations Legislation, Knowledge of Quality control and radiation Control legislation. Must have completed community service radiography. Knowledge of Public service Legislation, policies, and procedures. Good writing, communication, planning, and organizing skills. Ability to work in multidisciplinary team.
Duties :
-
Perform Radiographic services which include General, Fluoroscopy, CT-Scanner, mobiles, and theatre work. Deliver radiology images of high diagnostic quality. Perform duties as a general Radiographer during the week, weekends, public holidays as well as night duty (after hours shifts). Will be responsible for operation diagnostic radiography equipment to ensure diagnostic imaging of the highest standard and maintain highest quality of patient care. Must be focused, good interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, referring to doctors and radiologists. Compliance with Continuing Professional Development. (CPD) programs as required by HPCSA.
