Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Current registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner, independent practice, or will be eligible for independent practice. Must have Matric Certificate. Experience and recognised courses and qualifications related to obstetrics and gynaecology will be an advantage. Ability to function independently and be part of and recognised courses and qualifications related to a multidisciplinary team. Applicant must be solution-oriented and have good decision-making skills.

Duties :

  • Ensure effective and efficient obstetrics and gynaecological service delivery. Provide clinical care and treatment. Provide training to Interns and Medical students. Appropriate utilization of resources such as laboratory and blood products. Supervision of undergraduates and interns. Perform compulsory commuted overtime. Ensure compliance with policies/protocols.
