Grade 12. Certificate as Occupational Therapy Assistant. Current registration with the HPCSA. Experience in Mental Health will be an advantage. Skills in running Mental Health Care Users projects including gardening. Preferable a male OTA as per service needs.
Duties :
-
Implement occupational therapy interventions under supervision of an Occupational therapist with adult mental health care users in various settings from restrictive to less restrictive care. It includes individual and group treatment sessions. The ability to work independently in projects under supervision. Maintain quality assurance measures within the scope of practice in Mental health. Participate in meetings on patient care within your scope of practice. Partake and implement deinstitutionalize programs. Keep your CPD status compliant.
