Requirements :

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, plus two years Enrolled Nurse qualification that allows registration with the South African Council (SANC). Current annual registration with the SANC as a Enrolled Nurse. Knowledge of nursing care, processes and procedures, nursing statutes , and other relevant legal frameworks such as : Nursing act , Health act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Patient rights charter, Batho-Pele principles, Public Services regulations, ect. Good communication and sound interpersonal skills are necessary. Verified proof of experience.

Duties :

• Demonstrate basic understanding of nursing legislations and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Promote quality by basic nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by institution. Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure good nursing care and positive clinical outcomes. Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Measure, record and interpret vital signs. Sustain nutritional status of patients. Ensure personal hygiene of patients. Facilitate the elimination process. Willing to work shifts including night duty in different departments. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
