Requirements :

BChD/BDS or SAQA recognised equivalent qualification, Registered with the HPCSA as a dentist in the category Independent Practice, A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a dentist (post community service) in a rural public health facilities. Evidence of self -development in oral surgery, Diploma/Masters/Primaries. Note: It is a 2-year contract, however, renewable annually. If poor performance in the first year, the contract can be terminated.
Duties :

Clinical service rendering in the MFOS department, participate in the teaching and learning activities of undergraduate students in the department of MFOS as well as those prescribed by the University of Pretoria, Active involvement in academic programmes of the department, Conduct research and publish in accredited journals, To participate in all programmes and processes that promote self development as recommended by Gauteng Health and University of Pretoria, Academic self-development is compulsory, May be required to participate in commuted overtime depending on the needs.
