Requirements :

  • MBChB qualification. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Medical Practitioner. Current (2026) HPCSA registration. RECOMMENDATION: Diploma in Child health, FC Paed Part 1. Six (6) months experience in the management of children and neonates.

Duties :

  • Service rendering and administration related to clinical duties in the Paediatric Department with a focus on Paediatric HIV services (Clinics and ward care). Undergraduate teaching as well as assistance in research projects of the Department. Render call duties as required by the Department of Paediatrics.
