Requirements :

A Grade 12 certificate. A National Diploma (equivalent to NQF level 6)/ Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management/Public Management/ or equivalent will be an added advantage. Experience in a public hospital environment will be an added advantage. Knowledge and understanding of SCM polices and processes (PPPFA, PFMA etc. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and to attend to details and ensure the correctness of data/information. Ability to work under pressure and to work in a team. Be prepared to work overtime when required to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and interpersonal relations. Must be a client-oriented person. Computer knowledge and literacy are compulsory. Knowledge of SRM / SAP.
Duties :
-
Inventory management processes, including amongst Issuing stock as per internal requisitions to respective Cost Centres. Prepare Cost Centres report monthly before budget meeting. Proper stock movement recording by updating tally card with transactions for items issued to the End user on VA10, VA4, VA5, VA8 and VA9. Conduct sample stock take, stock control as per allocation and period stock take process as per regulations. Ensuring prompt replenishment of stock as per minimum and maximum stock levels and compile monthly stock reconciliation Do Monthly spot check to rectify discrepancies. Do Monthly inventory stats. Handling of end-user queries and reporting on progress. Support the web cycle and transit office with functions as requested or allocated like receiving, verification of deliveries and capturing of GRN/ GRV/ on SAP/ SRM including updating of weekly receipts report. Clearing of work-cycle and prepare VA10 for stock replenishment Handle queries presented to the department and provided report on relevant functions as allocated. Compile and submit reports as per relevant function and support the Stores Assistant with queries.
