Requirements :

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy as qualification that allows for registration with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA)in the relevant profession as an occupational Therapist. The candidate independent practice. Proof of current HPCSA registration. Knowledge of public service legislations, policies, procedures, and other health related policies. Knowledge of related legal frameworks. Planning, filling, and organizing skills, good communication and computer literacy.

Duties :

  • : Plan, coordinate and implement Occupational Therapy services. Render Occupational Therapy services which comply with the norms and standards as indicated in health policies. Provide expert advice on clinical conditions and being part of PILLIR committee. Implementation of record keeping, accurate statistic collection and analysis. Work within an MDT team. Ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements and PMDS process. Participate in continuous professional development.
