Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the HPCSA in Radiation Oncology Radiography. Registration with the HPCSA in Radiation Oncology Radiography. 04 years appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA as Diagnostic Radiographer.

Duties :

  • Undertake all basic radiation planning and treatment preparation. Treat all patients according to departmental protocols based on local and international research. Participate in academic activities. Responsible for localization planning and accurate delivery of radiation treatments to patients with neo-plasms. Provides physical and emotional support of patients. Conducts Daily and weekly quality assurance. Performs administrative duties. Assist students during clinical work to develop radiography skills.
