Grade 12 or equivalent Qualification. Good conflict management and problem-solving skills and communication skills both verbal and written. Must also be competent in numeric and computer literacy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Duties :
-
Compile and cost the institutions demand plan and procurement plan. Use the Central Supplier Database to acquire suitable suppliers for the requested items. Printing and compilation of quotations and supporting documents. Capture requisitions for the creation of Purchase Orders. Follow-up on deliveries. Posting of all the received and issued stock on the VA10 and VA 11 bin cards and excel spreadsheet. Compiling of monthly theoretical stock movement reports. Calculating the minimum and maximum stock levels for the new financial year. Always ensure availability of stock. Barcoding and allocating of new assets. Movement of assets to different areas. Capturing of goods received voucher (GRV), Clearing web cycle and liaising with suppliers. Updating of monthly acquisition spreadsheet Partake in stocktaking twice a year. Execute any lawful instruction tasked by the supervisor or delegated authority.
