Requirements :

Minimum Grade 10/ equivalent. Must be prepared to work shifts. Good communication skills. Good customer care. Must be able to work under pressure and with difficult patients. Problem solving skills. Must not be afraid to handle corpses. Must be prepared to rotate within the department.
Duties :
-
Transport or convey Patients from Casualty to different departments. Assist X-Ray, theatre, Maternity and other departments. Loading and offloading of patients from ambulances and private cars. Check and replace oxygen cylinders. Collect and clean wheelchairs and stretchers. Collect corpses from wards to mortuary. Do all Porters responsibilities as delegated by the Supervisor.
