Requirements :

  • Mmed (ORL) FCS (SA) ORL, fellow in Head & Neck. Registration as a specialist ORL with HPCSA with at least 3 years experience in the Head & Neck division - Clinic , ward Surgery and teaching and supervision. Research and teaching experience will be added advantage.

Duties :

  • Teaching , training and research. Service rendering specialized field of Orthorhinolaryngology. Successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical services and surgical patient care as an ORL specialist for in-patient and out-patient which includes after-hours (weekdays and weekends). Teaching and supervision of Registrars, Medical Officers, Interns and Undergraduates. Administrative duties to ensure smooth running of the division - Head & Neck Oncology , including compiling of reports and stats. Interdepartmental engagements including collaboration with Head & Neck multidisciplinary , Head & Neck oncology clinic (MTD).
