Requirements :

  • Grade 12 (Matric). No experience required. Skills and Competencies: Good verbal and written communication skills, People oriented, Customer Management, Planning and organizing, Teamwork. (Driving license as an added advantage)

Duties :

  • Management of documentation received from user departments informing loss: receipt and sorting of documentation received, recording of all documentation received or outgoing in a control register, verifying whether it is an existing file or a new matter, distribution of documents to the relevant official responsible. Assessing the completeness of the documentation and information received: inspecting and perusing the documentation and information received to ensure that it meets the required standard (e.g. completeness of reports), verify if all the following documentation as prescribed are attached: a) a loss form; b) trip authority; c) a police report and case number; d) identity document (ID); e) driver’s license; f) statements from the driver, follow up on all outstanding issues. Issuing of loss number: registering incident in control register, capturing incidence on FIS. Vehicle and driver tag administration: receive driver tags from service provider and distribute to KAM’s, communicate with service provider regarding installation or de-installation of tracker units. Tracking reports: download tracking reports on request.
