Duties :

• Perform a basic clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards as determined by the institution. To provide basic clinical nursing care i.e., facilitate that patients ‘basic needs are being cared for, measuring, interpreting and recording of vital signs, health promotion, administering of patient medication, ensuring patient safety, and any other duties delegated by the supervisor. Assist professional nurse with clinical procedures and in an emergency. Implement infection control practices and proper medical waste management. Compulsory shift work and flexibility. Give health education to patients and families. Must be prepared to work in allocated area due to service demands and work shifts as per allocation; this includes nightshift, weekends and public holidays. To contribute to the effective usage of resources. To maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self-development.
