Duties :

The many and diverse functions of this position encompass aspects of patients care, education, research (should participate in original basic or clinical research) and counsel during urological emergencies. The service aspect includes ensuring correct urological treatment of patients. The academic programme will include patient case presentations, subject discussions and attendance of the post graduate programmes. The academic and training requirements include passing primary and intermediate exams of the University of Pretoria or college of surgeons, final exit exams of the college and a research dissertation for University of Pretoria MMed (Urology).
