Requirements :

  • Grade 12 (Matric). No experience required. Skills and Competencies: Good verbal and written communication skills, People oriented, Customer Management, Planning and organizing, Teamwork. (Driving license as an added advantage)

Duties :

  • Management of Accident reports and assessing its completeness: Receipt and sorting of documentation received, recording of all documentation received or outgoing in a control register, verifying whether it is an existing matter or a new matter, distribute accident reports to the relevant and responsible official, Inspect and ensure that the documentation received meets the required standard. Compiling submission for 3rd party claims: Receive letter of demand for 3rparty claim, solicit legal opinion for claims received, prepare submission to the CEO for approval, Ensure approved submission is handed over to Finance for payment processing, communicate with the claimant if the claim has been repudiated, ensure that summons received are immediately referred to Legal services, instruct finance to issue a debt claim against the applicable client department. Issuing of HQ number and Recoveries for non-compliance: Record Incident in Control Register and issue HQ number, Capture on FIS, Capture on accident schedule, receive repair cost for vehicles repaired without accident report from maintenance unit, send communication to the relevant client department to submit outstanding documentation within reasonable period, in case of non-compliance prepare submission for recovery to bill the client. Rerouting Traffic Fines: Sort and register received traffic fines, identify responsible department through Fleet Information System (FIS), Identify responsible driver through tracker system, Complete AARTO 07 form to reroute traffic fines with the details of the driver responsible, liaise with traffic fines issuing authorities such as Municipalities and Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA) and on regular basis. Deinstallation of e-tags: De-install tags for vehicles withdrawn from service, De-install in service vehicles still with clients, prepare spreadsheet of de-installed tags and send them back to SANRAL.
