An appropriate minimum qualification (MBChB/MBBCh) that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner. Proof of current registration with HPCSA as an independent medical practitioner for the year 2025/2026. BLS/ACLS. 1 year experience in Family Medicine/ Internal Medicine or Emergency department inclusive of time spent in during community service. Ability to work commuted overtime to ensure continuous and uninterrupted patient care. Demonstration of good working ethics, including reliability, discipline, and the capacity to work under pressure. Capability to function independently as well as effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must be solution-oriented and possess sound decision-making skills. Must be available to resume duties immediately.
Duties :

As a Medical Officer in Family Med Department, the candidate will be expected to rotate between working both HIV Clinic, Outpatient Department and do compulsory commuted overtime in Emergency Department. The candidate will be responsible for the Comprehensive clinical management of the patients. He/ she will be required to perform clinical work and do presentation. Other clinical duties will include managing patients at HIV Clinic. The desired candidate will be required to serve as a role model and clinical mentor to junior doctors and associated clinical staff.
