An appropriate relevant Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in Nursing or Social Sciences. Relevant management qualification will be an added advantage. A minimum of 10 years’ working experience in the health or employee wellness related field of which five years must be as a Middle Manager. Registration with the relevant professional bodies. Knowledge and Experience Knowledge of working in HIV & AIDS, STI’s and TB related programs, regulations and policy work. A valid driver’s license. Leadership, written and verbal Communication Skills. Ethical practices and confidentiality. Understanding the current issues and trends in management of HIV & AIDS, and TB amongst health care workers. Knowledge of health-related and finance legislation and policy.
Duties :

Responsible for the implementation of comprehensive management of HIV, STIs, TB strategy regulations & policies in order to reduce mortality and morbidity due to HIV, STIs, and TB. Provide Prevention Programmes and Strategies. Minimize the impact of HIV, STIs, and TB in the workplace at all levels of employment in the GDOH. Ensure equitable access to quality HIV/AIDS diagnostic, treatment and care services. Strengthening of GDoH Human Resource capacity to deliver HIV/AIDS treatment, care, and management services. Ensuring that supervision monitoring and evaluation of the HIV, TB and STI’s. Management of project related to GDOH’s position and practices in relation to employees with HIV, AIDS, and TB in the workplace and to prevent the spread of infections. Enhancing of partnerships with key stakeholders in HIV/AIDS management. Prevent the occupational exposure and transmission of HIV, and TB at work. Ensure social dialogue for proper policy implementation. Drive reasonable accommodation for HIV, TB. Manage Human and Legal Rights; and Access to Justice.
