Requirements :

  • Nuclear Medicine Radiographer: Dual qualifications; Grade 12 plus National diploma/ Honors degree in Diagnostic Radiography plus Nuclear Medicine qualification B-tech/B.Rad(hons) or equivalent tertiary Nuclear Medicine qualification that is in line with Occupational Specific Dispensation (OSD). Registration and recent proof of payment with the HPCSA is mandatory. Single qualification or dual in the same category (Nuclear Medicine): Grade 12 plus National diploma in Nuclear medicine/ Degree in Nuclear Medicine Radiography NB* these candidates will not be accommodated on specialty salary level.

Duties :

  • Clinical service rendering and patient care. Participating in: organizing, planning, implementation of departmental policies/procedures and actively involved in CPD programs. Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine including “hot laboratory” and PET/CT will be an advantage. The candidate must be able to work independently. Must do all the administrative duties in all relevant areas and the supervision of the students in clinical training.
