Requirements :

• A Four year degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Therapy and Audiology. Compliance with HPCSA registration. Applicant must have completed one year of community service and must be registered as an independent practitioner. Competent knowledge and skills in assessment and management of speech, language, communication and feeding disorders. Other Skills/Requirements: Applicant should have good communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills. Applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team when required. Applicant should be able to be flexible and work under pressure.

Duties :

• To provide speech therapy services to patients presenting with speech, communication, swallowing and cognitive communication disorders related to various conditions, neurological, voice, head and neckcance etc, for both paediatric and adult cases. Must be able to manage outpatient caseload, be part of multidisciplinary clinics such as NDIand ECI. To complete and submit weekly and monthly statistics and reports. Adhere to management and uphold quality assurance requirements. To communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders regarding patient treatment.
