Senior/National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Must have completed Post Community Service. Proof of current registration with the HPCSA from 01 April2026 to 31 March 2027. The incumbent will be rotated between institutions. The following will be added advantages: Work experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, CMSA part 1 examinations, auxiliary courses relevant to the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Familiar with hospital protocols, guidelines, and quality assurance processes. Participation in academic activities, research, and departmental teaching. Ability to teach, support and supervise Interns and students.

The successful candidate will work in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and rotate at the hospitals that comprise the Pretoria Academic Complex. These include Kalafong Provincial Tertiary Hospital, Tembisa Hospital and Witbank Hospital. After-hour services are compulsory. The post includes teaching and training of undergraduate students in the department. Supervise all rotating pre-graduate students, Interns and junior colleagues in the clinical practice. Rotation to sub-specialties and facilities accredited by the University of Pretoria. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the departmental research initiative and in departmental outreach programs.
