Matric plus a three (3) year National Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. Proof of current registration with SANC. Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience of which four (4) years must be at Supervisory Level in the relevant field, A valid Driver’s License. Knowledge of Legislative Framework, computer literacy, managerial skills, written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must be able to work and react calmly under pressure and be able to meet set deadlines. Drivers license is a must as the job involves extensive driving around the province.
Duties :

Ensure compliance with statutory Regulation 158 Requirements on establishment of Private Health Facilities. Manage resources (Financial, Physical and Human). Develop and manage the communication plan in relation to private health facilities. Provide project management and support for the Licensing and Inspectorate Process of all private health establishments in the Gauteng Province. Conduct periodical inspections in private health establishments to ensure compliance with norms and standards. Assist in the evaluation of applications for private health establishments. Ensure applications are processed within acceptable time frames and that all documentation is ready for the adjudication committee.
