Candidate must be in position of B-Tech Degree/ Bachelor of Health Sciences in Emergency Medical Care. Candidate (s) must be currently registered with the HPCSA. Post graduate studies and training experience will be advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Verbal/ written communication skills in English. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential. A valid driver’s license with PDP.
Duties :
-
Involvement in all aspects of Education, Training and Development on the courses at the College including but not limited to facilitation, assessment, moderation, and mentorship. Participation in the shift work during practical phases of the course and EMS operational requests. Ensure that all aspects of the course are aligned to the relevant Legislation, Regulations and Policies. Participation in the formative, summative assessments processes. Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of the emergency medical education environment and the NECET policy. Have expert knowledge of the legislative and policy framework informing the learning and teaching. Understand different types of learning and Teaching method including online platform. Be able to manage formative, summative and continuous assessments of learners efficiently and effectively. Ensure all equipment and learning aids are aligned with HPCSA Regulations and sound Education practices. Must be willing and able to participate in research at the College. Management of all College staff involved on the course and responsible for performance management of students.
