• REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or Matic certificate with 1-year experience in the Hospital environment , effective communication skills, good interpersonal relations, client oriented and customer focus, ability to handle and manage confidential information and have sufficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Policies and prescripts, PFMA and Treasury Regulations. Execute other relevant tasks upon instruction by the supervisor and when necessary.
Duties :

• Duties: Issue stock as per internal requisitions to respective Cost Centres. Accurate recording of transactions of stock issued and received on respective stock card (VA11). Regular checking of stock expiry date to minimize stock expiring on shelf. Do Monthly spot check to rectify discrepancies. Do Monthly inventory stats. Keep stock on shelves neatly packed. Apply FIFO & FEFO method on stock issued and received. Assist during stock taking. Receive delivered stock from Transit.
• Source out quotations for items not on contract. Prepare spreadsheet for requisitions to be presented at the vetting committee meeting for approval. Update tally card with transactions for items issued to the End user. Prepare requisitions for stock replenishment. Capture approved requisitions for creation of Purchase Order
