Requirements :

  • Grade 12/ senior certificate, or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in public service. Knowledge in data capturing will be an added advantage. Basic knowledge of administration processes. Good communication skills, Numeracy skills, Computer Literacy (knowledge and understanding of all MS programs) and ability to draw data. Computer certificate will be an added advantage. Self-propelled. Responsive person with positive attitude. Good in time management. Knowledge of the Batho-pele principles.

Duties :

  • Provide administrative support services: Perform monthly data conciliations and do monthly data conciliation. Capture data on DHIS database and update Health Information Management database (HIM). Capture and update data on the computer. Generate various spreadsheets. Update the system on all data sets. Validate data (for quality purposes) to ensure correctness, completeness and consistency. Compile routine statistical information/reports. Receive, register and track records or documents submitted for further processing in the administration component of the institution. Take meeting minutes when necessary. Capture routine transactions on the computer, such as transferring information from manual records to electronic documents. Provide routine and administrative maintenance services: update and file records in accordance with filing standards. Continuous updating of information on the computer for reporting purposes. Maintain the DHIS database. Retrieve information required. Submit reports to relevant directorate as requested. Answer all incoming calls and enquiries in the office. Perform delegated duties requested by the supervisor.
