Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months’ appropriate experience in office administration. Diploma/degree in Public Administration or Public management will be an added advantage. Computer literacy is essential. Competency in Ms Excel, Ms Word, and PowerPoint. Good telephone etiquette. Good planning, organizational, and record keeping skills. Ability to work under pressure. Language skills and ability to communicate with people at different levels and backgrounds. Basic written communication skills. High level of reliability. Ability to work independently and as a team. Current and former EPWP participants and COVID-19 contract officials are encouraged to apply.
Duties :

Perform administrative duties for the North sub-district office. Answer telephone and taking messages. Receive visitors and direct them properly. Booking venues for the meetings. Diary management. Record all incoming and outgoing posts. Compile and collate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Record all minutes/decisions and communicate to relevant role players and make follow-up on progress. Scrutinize documents to determine actions/information/other documents required before submission. Filling of documents and administration of leave registers and invoices. Drafting and sending memos and emails to relevant people and facilities. Scanning and copying documents. Order stationery and other consumables stock for the sub-district offices. Supervision of cleaners and EPWP participants in the sub-district offices. Ensure confidentiality of all information in the sub-district.
