Grade 10 / AET level 5 to Grade 12 certificate ( School report with School stamp and log). One year experience in Hospital environment. Have knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patient rights and OHS act. Knowledge of customer service, self-driven and motivated. Must be able to read, write and work as team. Must be able to work shifts.
Duties :
-
Issuing and delivering of clean linen to relevant departments. Receiving of clean linen from outsourced laundries. Packing of clean linen in the shelves, controlling and monitoring of minimum and maximum stock available in the linen stores. Collecting of dirty linen from wards, sorting out and counting of soiled linen before sending washing. Making follow up on linen not received back. Sluicing of stained linen. Queries to assist in the process of stock taking and weekly spot checks. Cleaning of linen trolleys before and after use. Flexibility regarding shifts (both night and day). Ensure compliance with the Ideal Hospital Framework, Batho Pele principles, and patient rights and Infection Prevention and Control. Contribute to managing complaints and patient safety incidents
