Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a dentist, with interest in Orthodontics. Minimum of 7 years as a Dentist after registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Practitioner. Must have a proven track record of academic experience in teaching and training undergraduate students and conducting and publishing research. Postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics will be an added advantage

Duties :

  • Will be responsible for the following key performance areas: Provision of clinical Orthodontic services at MOHC, Participate in the academic undergraduate programme for SMU, Teaching and training undergraduate dental students including the academic administration thereof, Prepare and deliver dentistry lectures in Orthodontics , Maintain physical and electronic records, Be willing to be developed in education; academic and research activities, Conduct research, Participate in any other duties as may be determined by the supervisor
