Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice 425 (i.e diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. Minimum of (08) years’ experience appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing.At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be experience at management level which five (5) years must be directly in the Clinical TB/HIV Programme environment and experienced in PHC. In-depth knowledge and understanding of National TB/HIV, MDR & XDR TB protocols and management of TB Control programme. Understanding of the TB/HIV collaboration. Knowledge of legislation governing the public sector, including the Public Finance Management Act. Knowledge of quality improvement and M&E implementation approaches/strategies and plans. Experience/knowledge in working with DHIS and/or other National, routine health information systems and knowledge of DHIMS Policy. In-depth knowledge and understanding of TB/HIV Integrated Information System (THIS). Analytical thinking verbal and written communication skills. Planning and organizing skills. Presentation, facilitation and people management skills (Batho Pele principles). Conflict management. Good interpersonal relations and communication skills. Supervision and control of subordinates. Excellent data management skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Valid driver license.
Duties :
-
Facilitate effective collaboration with all Stakeholders and District Management teams in executing TB activities. Implementation of HAST strategy, plan in line with the 90,90,90 TB and HIV strategy. Implementation of the TB strategic interventions whilst monitoring the acceleration of TB treatment initiation for adults and children. Monitoring and analysis of the 90x90x90 TB programme cascade. Collaborate and facilitate the development of the District TB programme Business plan. Effective monitoring of budget allocation to ensure that resources are adequately implemented at all levels. Improving access of TB, DR-TB and HIV programme. Support and monitor quality screening and finding missing cases. To Monitor TB treatment completion rate, death and LTFU, Implementation of TB/HIV integrated Health Information System. Liaise with Local Government, different levels of health, community structures to improve service delivery. Conducting quarterly reviews for performance monitoring in the Province. Take part in the Gauteng Province Turnaround Strategy, Primary Heath care engineering. Display High level of organizational, initiative and problem-solving skills. Coordinate and facilitate effective, efficient and sustainable financial planning and control of conditional grant for TB/HIV/STI integration.
