An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification NQF level 6 in Human Resource management / Public Administration / Public Management. Code 8 driver’s license. Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience within Human Resource management.
Duties :
-
Facilitate the implementation of PMDS; Ensure that performance contracts and performance reviews are submitted timeously and in line with the DPSA time requirements, Capture PMDS data on PERSAL as per requirements, ensure adherence to PMDS policy, Develop and submit statistical data to the ASD at the end of each quarter, provide ongoing support by responding to PMDS queries, maintain filing of all PMDS related hard copies. Co-ordinate PMDS related training; Co-ordinate workshops for both management and employees to ensure understanding of the system, follow up on the effectiveness of training conducted, provide guidance and advice regarding the system to all g-FleeT staff. Coordinate development of employees; Prepare workplace skills plan for incorporation into the training plan for the financial year, prepare workplace skills plan for incorporation into the training plan for each financial year, perform any other task as delegated by the Deputy Director: Utilization Employee Relations and Wellness. Employee Relations: Coordinate awareness campaigns on LR processes, ensure compliance to LR policy and processes. Implement HIV, AIDS and TB; Assist in the Recruitment of the HIV Peer educators, provide Support in Coordination education, training and awareness sessions on HIV/AIDS and TB in the workplace, assist in organizing and facilitating the quarterly HIV Testing and Counselling campaign and TB screening, Support in Conducting policy
roadshows on HIV/AIDS and TB policies, Respond to health calendar events such as International World Aids Day,16 Days of activism. Implement the Health and Productivity Management Strategy; Raise awareness on communicable
and non-communicable disease, organize and facilitate Health screening campaigns for employees, program for support and counselling, Conduct activities that promote physical and mental wellness, respond to health calendar events, conduct staff satisfaction surveys, conduct activities that promote nutrition and healthy eating. Implement the Wellness management strategic pillar; Promote/market the Employee Wellness program services to the employees and managers, respond to health calendar events such as cancer or substance abuse awareness month, organise wellness week for staff, conduct activities that promote physical wellness and healthy eating, organise health screening for staff on a quarterly basis, coordinate sport activities in the Department. Coordinate the implementation of OHS; Ensure the administration of COIDA, establish OHS committees in the department, conduct inspections and risk assessments. Facilitate capacity building programmes and interventions in terms of OHS, advise on ill health incapacity management.
