Grade 12 plus B-Tech/ Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Communications/ Public Relations/ Media Liaison/ Journalism or relevant qualification as recognized by SAQA. 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in managing corporate communications environment and marketing services. A valid driver’s license. Computer Literacy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, report writing skills. time management, management of people, Innovative, Team Player and flexible, Client Orientated, Influential and strategic, chairing and organising meetings. Knowledge of relevant legislation and Public Service Regulations, understanding of expectations of customers, knowledge of Contracts, management information knowledge, project management methodologies, policy development and change management.
Duties :

To develop and manage publications and content., manage the publications of external and internal features, develop, promote and maintain internal departmental branding, manage the provision of content for the website, intranet and advertisements for the department. To manage the development of all departmental publications, ensure that the look and feel of the design and layout of all production and publications comply with the CI manual and departmental policy, ensure all departmental staff is well informed of the department programmes and services through and publications, edit and proof read all departmental publications content and manage production of all publications (i.e. brochures, newsletter, annual reports, etc.), Ensure quality graphic designs and layout, ensure that publications are produced and distributed, manage the printing of all departmental publications and ensure distribution to all stakeholders, provide communication support to line departments in terms of internal and external programme, the use of the department logo, manage and monitor the CI manual and Departmental Brand policy with all departmental business units, and manage resources (Human, Finance, Equipment, Assets) in the Directorate,
