Requirements :

• Grade 12 plus an appropriate qualification that allows registration as an independent Practitioner. No experience required after registration as a Medical Registrar. Must have completed Post Community Service. Registration with HPCSA for the financial year 2025/26. The successful candidates will be expected to rotate through all our training hospitals. The following will be added advantages: Work experience in the field of Anesthesiology.; CMSA part 1 examinations; auxiliary courses relevant to the field of Anesthesiology.

Duties :

• The successful candidate must provide clinical services to patients at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital and its referring hospitals, participate in the Department’s academic programmes, research activities and clinical audit meetings.

The performance of normal and commuted overtime is not mandatory; however it will be based on the operational needs of the hospitals.
