Requirements :

• National Diploma/ in Public Relations / Communication / Journalism (NQF Level 6/7 as recognized by SAQA). Code 8/10 is essential.

Duties :

• : Write and proofread content publications. Coordinate the publication and distribution of annual reports. Coordinate the printing requirements for core business with the service providers. Provide technical advice on video, multimedia and production of other advocacy materials. Take and archive photographs. Store photographs, videos and multi-media content. Provide photographic and multimedia services for the Department update and maintain the resource Centre. Build and manage the publication archive Determine the types of resources that will best serve the GDED employees and update the collection to ensure relevance. Discard outdated resources and introduce new materials. Coordinate training sessions on how to use resources effectively. Help users to locate, reserve, or operate resources Centre. Gather feedback from users to assess satisfaction and address issues. Validate that all printed collateral complies with GPG Corporate Identity. Determine appropriate distribution channels. Proof-read, edit and quality assure proofs before publications are printed. Ensuring that items are produced on time and to the highest standard. Facilitate Procurement of marketing collateral
