Requirements :

• An MBChB degree is the minimum educational qualification needed, Grade 12 plus an appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Registrar (Medical). Current registration with the HPCSA, no experience required after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Registrar. Should have completed the mandatory internship, post internship and Community Service. The following will be added advantages: FCS Neurology Primaries.

Duties :

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including inpatient and outpatient care, including after hour services. Interdisciplinary consultations as well as up and down patient referrals with other healthcare facilities. Participate in specialist training program for the MMed in Neurology & to sit the fellowship examinations towards the end training program. Provide teaching & supervision of undergraduate students.
