Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an independent practice Physiotherapist. Proof of current registration with HPCSA (2025/2026). No experience required after completion of Community service in Physiotherapy as required in respect of RSA qualified employee. Must have knowledge of current health and public service legislation, regulations, and policies. Knowledge on application of clinical Physiotherapy theory, practices, and ethical codes. Must have good basic Physiotherapy clinical skills, planning & organizational skills, networking & liaison skills, and report writing skills. Computer literacy, post graduate qualification, ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team will be an added advantage

Duties :

  • Render effective patient centred Physiotherapy services for in- and out-patients in accordance with Physiotherapy scope of practice and health protocols. Carry out delegated duties with due ligence.Implement and adhere to national, provincial, departmental, and institutional policies, procedure, regulations, guidelines, and SOPs.Participate in quality assurance audits. Participate in continuous professional development programmes. Communicate effectively with stake holders. The candidate should be willing to rotate and be involved in various areas related to physiotherapy scope of practice.
